Brooklyn Americans 1941-42 Sweater
New York's original NHL franchise was eclipsed by the arrival of the Rangers in 1926. for their final season the Amerks tried to distinguish themselves with the name "Brooklyn" but still played all home games at Madison Square Garden. As legendary as the players who wore the originals this vintage hockey jersey is individually handcrafted and reproduced using the same materials and techniques as the originals including knit-in striping authentic tackle twill and embroidery and double elbow pads and number "2" on the back. The result is a historically accurate garment of extraordinary construction.
